Official 370 Venture thread

Escape Cay - sorry to see that. I can imagine the feeling of thinking you figured out the dilemma only to add another...been there many times. Hope U figured it out

Anyone here selling a Sea Ray Venture 370? I just sold my boat and am ready to get something else.

Not too many out there to choose from. I purchased mine last month and have zero regrets… I already had two offers. People are blown away with the enclosed outboards.

I was under contract on the Venture listed with MarineMax: https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2013-sea-ray-370-venture-7465082/ it appears available. I had it surveyed in June. Only a few issues. Overall, it is a decent boat but terminated the contract b/c the one I purchased became available in Austin and freshwater.

I have personally seen this boat. Feel free to PM me if you want more info on the boat. I would sell the survey for $800. I spent over $1500 between survey and haul out. Also have info on the one in Wisconsin.

-Thanks

Just when I thought I was making progress on the BEAST. Replacing a engine cover shock absorber. Ordered a factory replacement. The cylinder was difficult to compress enough to get it on the mount ball (about 2 inches). I finally go the right angle and was able to get in installed. Happiness evaporated when I closed the cover. See photos of hinges un hinged. View attachment 89802View attachment 89803 View attachment 89804View attachment 89805

Man, I am sorry that happened to you. Having previous boats, I know the feeling.

While replacing my shower sump pump I noticed the a/c condensation drain hose kinked. I inspected the a/c drain pan and it was full of water. After a quick trip to the hardware store the water drained instantly.

Im close to making a deal on a 2014 Venture up in Vancouver..will have to truck the boat down to the SF Bay Area. I'm waiting on the financing to get settled. The boat has both the bow thruster and joystick..about 395 hours on the Verado's. I'm about to call to get the survey done once the financing is lined up this week. Any advice? Any response is greatly appreciated!
Thanks Mike

This might be a stupid question (sorry if it is). I can’t seem to get the stove top (single burner) to turn on. It has power and I hear what sounds like a fan turn over when I attempt to turn it on. However, when I try to increase the temp it seems like everything shuts off. Any help, or suggestions, would be appreciated.

:). Thanks. I probably would end up using it once a year, if that as well. I’m on my second month with the boat (absolutely love it by the way), perfect for my family of 5. Just frustrated that I can’t get it to turn on as I am going through all of the options.

I took a big leap as I have owned boats for over twenty years but all in the 20’ range. Here is what I have learned (and have plenty more to learn I’m sure)

boat is more responsive docking with the Verados trimmed up slightly when docking.

The lift pump/solenoid pump that fuels the generator is not an easy part to find.

The boat handles much better than expected, even offshore in 3-5.

...man there’s a lot of electronics/parts on this boat to learn. And I enjoy learning them!

Next project is to install a radar and cockpit TV.

got the starting batteries in and ran some tests . The resting voltage is about a 1/2 volt higher so the verado's start up real fast and batteries show very low voltage drop . Lithium has a lower internal resistance so most voltage regulators charge a little higher . The verado's went from 4.2v to 4.4v , about the same as the suzuki's on my center console. Have a little more clean up of the cables and have to install the battery covers . 2View attachment 67079 things happened . The outboards are now out of the water when trimmed up . And the boat leans to starboard when no one is one it . Had my son sit at the cockpit table and the boat levels out so should help when a lot of people sit at the table . Hope the wind dies down so i can take it for a ride this weekend .
whatalife ... how are those lithium batteries working for you?

I just purchased a 2015 venture 370 does anybody know why the bath sink would not work? the kitchen sink works and the outside sink works, just the bathroom sink does not have water coming out of it when you turn it on

Check the plugs and breaker down below the sink

Also you need an iron core pan for the thing to work as it's induction.

Hope u never need it, but figured I would share...
The solenoid pump shut off valve from my generator to my port fuel tank went bad. It was a difficult part to find but I was able to find it.
“Michael, this fuel shut off was designed for this boat, we would recommend ordering one from your nearest Sea Ray Dealership. Here is the Sea Ray part #:

Part Number...: 1791155 VALVE, BRASS FUEL SHUT-OFF 12V SER7000 10W“

Does anyone know if Searay makes isinglass for this boat? From the windshield to the arch?
