Does anyone know how to remove the TV in the aft stateroom(06 MY)?Can't seem to find anything. Pulled the access panel to the salon ac's and found the salon TV bolts for removal, but can't access the aft. Any suggestions?

YES! we have the same issue and the problem is the shower box float switch sometimes gets stuck, box gets full, the condensate line can't push into it then it leaks.

pull the access below the aft stateroom mattress and I’ll bet you find the source, an over flowing condensate drip pan. All the a/c units, sinks (ex the one behind the helm) and showers empty into the grey water sump. The float switch gets gummed up with soap and doesn’t work correctly. A messy job, but remove the top and clean the sump out. Remove the float switch and clean it out..........

Anyone know where to buy the solid canvas for above the aft cabin? Or is that a custom thing? I want to replace the current mesh / isinglass with the solid canvas. Certainly appreciate it.

You mean the canvas/glass that wraps around the cockpit above the aft cabin? That's custom. You best source may be the canvas shop (forget the name) right on the PWM campus, sort of behind (shoreward) of the stack storage building; I don't know of any shops closer. You can look for other shops as well but they will charge you for coming to PWM and likely wipe out any savings. I posted some pictures of my install (that was done by a shop in Maryland) earlier in the thread. I also wanted to get rid of the mesh as it was a PIA to keep clean.

I think that area (port side of the bed aft) is typically a low spot when the boat is normally trimmed so there seem to be many sources of leaks. I know of two more flooding causes I have experienced there:
- Failure of the valve behind the shore water inlet. I had to replace the fitting but it was pretty easy. I used a Shurflo model that has a higher pressure rating, so better showers when on shore water.
- Water intrusion through the vertical joint between the deckhouse and the hull on that side. Could be rain or backwash, that area gets pretty wet when the boat is on plane.

You can inspect for either of these problems by removing the access panel in the back of the stateroom closet. I think virtually any water that gets into that area is going to end up in the carpet. If the caulking is a problem it will probably be evident by looking closely from the outside.

When I was trying to find my problems, at some point I emailed Sea Ray service. Their guess was a leak coming from the threshold of the post cockpit plexiglass door. They said a leak there could migrate back to the carpet. I didn't have that problem but it's potentially a fifth choice.

Mine may be different but I have an access panel in floor of the cabinet right above the TV. Removing that panel will provide access to the TV mount. I think there are differences between the years in that area, not sure when it changed over but it is that way on the 2008.

I solved that by cutting and attaching a piece of teakwood to make a threshold. Then went to a shop that makes custom ducts. They bent a sweep and a backing plate. 4 nut/screws attached it. Then used stick back rubber insulation around the perimeter. Seems to work well.

Can anyone tell me which fuel fill is the port side or starboard side. Bow side or stern?
I use a little noflex in the shower drains,
Keeps the sump pretty clean.

The forward fill is for the starboard tank. The after fill is for the port tank.

What have you come up with to hang a bumper/fender towards the aft end of the boat . I do not find the small cleat with the spring loaded center piece easy to use.

I have noticed that when filling the port fuel tank the vent flows a little gas. Has anyone else experienced this.

I have the same problem with diesel. It's sort of a "burp" in my case and I think it happens when the inflow outstrips the capacity of the boat's interior fill hose. I've gotten to be able to hear it coming and let off but also always use a stick-on spill bottle.

By the way towing a dinghy or seadoo
Is simple.

I seen a Deisel boat do it also. My guess is it’s where the hose runs to the other side of boat.

This reminds me I did have one of the overflow hoses fail once, made a small but still ugly mess. The tech said the original install put too much strain on a bend. Good thing for all of us to check once in a while as I think the configuration of the fuel system as it relates to tank fill is the same across all versions.

Dangerous is a gas boat!

All the time. I remove the port fill cap and blow out the port vent line by covering it with a little contraption I made from a suction cup and attaching the air pump I use to inflate the water toys.

Although the void appears to be sealed from what can be seen from above, it's apparently pretty open from the sides, at least on mine.
There is a non-destructive test your yard should be able to do to check for external leaks. When my filled void was discovered, they did a quick pull to perform the test. I don't know the details but the major worry was about leakage around the nearby thruster tunnel. The cost wasn't much more than the price for the haulout.
Have you noticed any pattern around when water shows up such as after periods of rain or underway periods? You might also try having someone watch the void while another person takes a hose and sprays the topsides, especially around the rub rails.
My water leak seems to be gone, but I really can't pinpoint why. I drained it all with a shop vac and have checked it every week waiting for it to fill up again for the past 2 months. I hit the rub rails with water, boat has been washed many times, have been out for a wide variety of cruises and not a drop in the compartment. I did have one issue that I fixed before the problem went away. My drain lines for the anchor locker doors were plugged and I replaced them. Before replacing them, they would stay wet and would drain into the anchor locker. The anchor locker drains were always open and water never accumulated in the locker. I even pull all the chain out looking for a potential leak but it appeared totally sealed. I appreciate the comments and input. Problem is gone but I really don't know why.
