Official Cummins QSC 540 Thread

Ok so just finished up 1000 hour major service on my 650 hour QSC 540's. Whats next??

1. Fresh water flush kit? who has done it? I keep my boat up the New River in Ft Lauderdale in mostly fresh water so is it needed?
2. When is the next oil change 100 hours or 250 hours?
3. What spares to keep on the boat?

I am new to Cummins, always had CAT's so looking for tips on these motors.

What did they service? The QSC's require service based on time or hours whichever comes first. Set up an account with Cummins Quickserve and you will be able to see all of the service requirements.

They did the following:
R&R all coolers and sent out for cleaning and testing
all hoses replaced
impellers replaced
zincs replaced
main crank seal replaced
front cover resealed
belts replaced
oils & filters replaced

yes, was done at time of purchase (1/15/2020) and came back perfect.
