I have a two part question,I apologize if one of the questions is not in the correct section.

1) I just got a 2000 410 Express with 3126 Cats. If I am out running the boat and come back to the marina, and pull back on the throttles to a No Wake zone I notice the oil pressure drops to 20 psi, so as I touch the throttle is goes back to 50 psi. Is this normal or do I have a problem ?

2) I had 400 Dancer with Gas motors that boat I never used the trim tabs ever. My Express goes on plane no problem but the bow is the air I have to run with tabs down to bring the bow back down. Is this normal? it is kinda pain because you need to stand while driving.

Thanks,
Paul

Yes oil pressure fluctuation is normal like that is normal. Mine does the same.

Did you get a low oil pressure alarm? If not, probably not low, just some gauge error

I have a new to me 410 Sundancer with 3126s. Mine start cold about 50 psi but do drop at idle once hot. I think somewhere in the 30ish range, I think the spec is 35-70.

I run with full nose down trim. I can barely see over the nose at speed and standing or leaning does help. Normal for these boats, the newer versions, maybe 2004 or 2005 have a down sloping nose to give better visability over the nose.

Thank you for all the help. No Alarms what so ever and always had Cat oil and filters in it. Boat only has 690 hours on it. Runs great. Just nice to hear feedback.

1) Mine fluctuate with rpm's.
2) At 24kts the nose really flattens out and I release the tabs at this speed...
