I have an Onan diesel generator (model MDKDN) in my 2017 boat. Generator has about 500 hours on it. Runs great and puts out great power.
Yesterday I was doing annual oil change which caused me to run the generator with the sound shield door open and I noticed water running into the pan. Water is coming from behind the generator, so I could not see where it was coming from without removing all the sound shield panels (which I did not have time for). It is bigger than a drip, more like a trickle, and it only occurs when running. I'm hoping it is just a loose clamp on outbound water hose.
I'll take the shield off next weekend and figure out the source, but wondering if anyone has seen this before.
Thanks
Scott
