Same here in michigan.Talked to my sister on the west side of the state and they cant get to thier boat either. His air
craft repair company is swamped though and her hubby is considered essential .He does work alone and has to sanitize each plane and helicopter before working on it.

The Columbia river is closed to fishing but the waters are open to boating. Ramps and marinas are open. We see a few boats on the river every day.

Marina office is closed but Hampton Marine is prepping and putting boats back in. Our biggest issue is fuel, we can't get it at our place and across the river is closed and the pumps are off

In Ca they are considering closing the most popular sport fishing areas to enforce the distancing rules.
Most of the ramps are still open unless they are at a state park. Most of the parks have been closed.Too bad that the Idiots won't simply self police and not crowd shoulder to shoulder on the river banks!

There are still reports of crowds of people showing up all at the same time at the local big box grocery stores and Costco. I don't get it at all. I go to our local Neighborhood Walmart Grocery store every couple of days at off hours and rarely wait for a self check out register. I guess Herd Mentality is just baked in to a lot of folks. I for one avoid crowded situations always. Its just sad that big brother has to be the one to control the behavior of individuals.

Closed. Entry road barricaded. Can't even get close.

The Governor closed golf courses, boat ramps and marinas in all of NY yesterday until April 29th. Even though we are farther from NY City than Richmond Virginia, there needs to be equal suffering for all I guess. Snowed this morning, so getting on the boat is no big deal. Looks like the end will begin to come for some of you soon. Post pictures for the rest of us.

Equal suffering is right. Protect the city at all costs!

we’re at least able to go work on the boats until splash (I’m outside) but I don’t anticipate going in until mid May now. That’s 6 weeks late for us :(

You could park in the train parking lot and hoof it over but that’s like a 1 mile walk one way.

My pond is located in the mountains of southern NY. The only neighbors are deer, turkey, bear and a few feral cats. Although by main boat is in the garage at home, my little dinghy is still at the pond. I will be plying the waters of the pond until the water gets warmer, then my A$$ will be in the water sticking out the bottom of my tube. All the time I will be carrying, so don't come by unless you have steaks or ammo. Nothing better than wood fired cooking fires, and we'll have a lot of them. We all have to take precautions, and we all have to be good citizens. Just hope that the taxes don't put us out of bizness.

Marina's are closed in Lake George following NYS and Prince Andrews rules. If I was to hazard a guess 4/30 they will be allowed to open the mechanical services at least...I hope..

Boating is permitted on LKN but they closed the public ramps. Huh?

My boat stays in the water year round and my marina is open. Thankful for that.

The county parks in Charlotte are open. However two days ago they closed the parking lots and posted no parking signs on all of the side streets. So unless you live in walking or biking distance you are effectively precluded from using the parks. This is in response to groups of more than 10 gathering. Would it not have made more sense to send a few LEOs into the park to disperse the crowds rather than deprive 95% of the community from using the available greenspace?

Anyone want to guess what political party controls the local government?

The Corps closed all marina's on our lake. High and Dry's can't even open doors. Since I am going on a year waiting for Taylormade to make the correct replacement windshield for my boat, my season can't start until New York opens for business. Guess I'm screwed.

I'd like to thank everyone who responded back with your area situation. May you and your family's be and stay safe through this ordeal. it' seems we are all in the same boat! LOL

God Bless, Les

My Marina is on Joint Base Lewis McChord, (Fort Lewis and McCord AFB, WA). Everything not considered essential services and military activities is locked down. That means all recreational facilities are closed. No date yet when they will reopen. And all the state parks are closed and that's where most of the boat ramps are. Recreational fishing is considered non-essential. The only marine services that are open are those that service commercial vessels. They haven't said no boating, but if you boat isn't in the water or there isn't a private boat ramp you're out of luck. I've seen people out sailing and boating, but only a few. But my boat is in my storage lot where I live so this gives me a chance to do a lot of work on it I have been putting off.
