Have any Sundancer owners found a source for opening ports or how to modify them to open?

A picture may help clarify, but it sounds like your boat has a solid, plexiglass portlight? Essentially, just a sheet of plastic screwed into the hull? You're not going to be able to modify them, but you can replace them. Bomar/Pompanette, while not the only player in this field, is probably the biggest/most well known. Take a look at their website for something that would fit your needs. Note... it would be highly unlikely if you DIDN'T have to re-cut/shape the existing hole in the hull.
