I remember a thread from a few years ago about being too hot for boating, below is the link and my contribution in the thread..........back in the good ole days of CSR.

"Anybody that doesn't go boating because it is hot has just lost any creditabilty they may have had as being a boater. Either strap on a set and go boating or stay home and rearrange your sock drawer. We wouldn't want you breaking a nail or something while handling the front lines........if you even know how to handle the front lines. You guys are probably the same ones that b!tch when it is chilly, don't anchor out overnight, raft off with other boaters, stay at the dock when the breeze is over 10 mph or a 20% chance of showers.......In addition to having your boating license revoked, turn in you man card on the way out."

thanks for your contribution to this thread.....sorry but after reading your excerpt of the thread I will not be taking the time to read the thread....it sounds like it turned into one of those threads that eventually deteriorated into name calling and insults....and I don't personally get involved in or read those types of threads.....if that is representative of how CSR was back in the 'good ole days' I am glad I was not a member then....

one word of caution for you.....before you call other posters out publicly and basically call them candy asses you may want to know your audience a little better...some of us don't play well with internet bullies and you never now when paths will cross.....

We were down at Bethany too this past weekend it was hot but there was a strong breeze down along the beach. Bethany Blues bourbon selection and BBQ certainly helped us beat the heat.

We have some great friends that just moved to Bethany a few months ago so it was our first time there. Seems like a great little town. Played golf at Cripple Creek and then went to the beach for awhile. The beach breeze was great, but the bloody mary bar Sunday Morning at Starboard's in Dewey was even better!! :thumbsup:

I'm in Anna Maria Island for two weeks, it's hot, but absolutely no worse that Philadelphia. Sun may feel a bit more intense here but I'll take this any day over Philly.
