Slippery slope here and it looks ugly. Sounds like a monopoly here. A couple of companies controlling all communication? Another step towards socialism/communism.
 
Thought there were laws against Monopolies... Time to break up Facebook and Google. I'm not one for getting involved with dictating what a private company does, but when the private company is so unbelievably biased and so big that they are heavily involved with bringing down our country as we know it, it's time.
 
How is it that we don't have a few conservative Billionaires that fund and scale a social media platform that can replicate FB and Google and amazon for that matter? Could it be that conservatives are just too honest to play in the industry and unwilling to compromise their core principles to do what it takes? Same reason we don't get more involvement of truly good conservative principled MEN to run for higher office. It takes scoundrels willing to get in the pit with the other scoundrels to gather the treasure for themselves I guess. Its such a travesty that what the founding fathers originally envisioned as a government overseen by successful educated gentlemen serving a limited time in congress and then returning to their private lives. Instead we have professional career politicians serving for life and doing anything they can to remain in power even stepping so low as to manipulating a devastating pandemic to steal a national election. Its truly hard to imagine how this gets better before it devolves into revolution. Fun times ahead!

And yet the platform giants haven’t broken any laws.

BTW, I’ve been in IT for 30 years and all this had to be planned well in advance.

AWS, Azure, Google, Mozilla, Face, none have the capability to simply flip a switch and “purge” a company. It takes tons of planning and testing.
 
So I got registered into Gab some how but can’t use it ...it’s almost frozen when you get in... tonight I got this message that ended up freezing as well
