Parler goes down last night

Never joined Twitter and had a BookFace account back in the mid 2000's, but promptly shut it down after ex's were looking me up. I recently joined Parler out of tech tyrant spite and found it interesting. I liked following conservatives, although I assume like twitter, you need to weed through some of the conspiracy BS. It's truly a sad day in the US when speech can be shut down. I don't see that getting any better under the new administration.
 
Isn't it Rich?!! The government media complex (alphabet net works) constantly compare Trump to Hitler yet they along with FANG are the true fascists' with the cancel culture and snuffing speech and the free exchange of ideas on their platforms. Every conservative on FB, Twitter or Snapchat and linkdin for that matter out of shear principle should cancel their accounts and refuse to do business with any of the advertisers using the platforms either. Go back back to the good old days, shop locally or simply do with out for a bit.
What is the answer though? Are any of you going to go show your discontent by joining your brothers on capital steps on the 20th like the news is telling us constantly that we are going to do? All I have heard on Net work news is there will be violence at every state capital and the military is going to be deployed pre-emptily to quell it. Where were the troops ever deployed pre-emptily to quell BLM and Antifa Riots all year long?
I actually was considering running up to Sacramento, a 30 min drive for me, to be a fly on the wall and see what happens on the 20th but then I calculated the risk/reward against the possible outcome and I decided hells no! I work for the state right in the heart of the liberal sanctum and would be risking my career if I somehow got caught up in something associated with the conservative movement I have no doubt. Then I look deep into the mirror and ask myself, if I portend to stand on moral righteous high ground with a conservative stripe then how do I work in education? I hold my nose and my tongue and teach young men and women the art and craft of Aircraft MX and know in my soul that I'm providing value to our society, that's how. I then take my outrageously generous compensation package afforded me by the idiot taxpayers that don't care what their government does with their tax dollars and enjoy my yacht!
I hate myself some times for sitting back and watching Fox News and News Max and yelling at the TV when Pelosi or Shumer or Biden are spewing their garbage and not being willing to risk my life style that I worked 1/2 a century to achieve and try to do something constructive about it. Short of honing sniper and ninja skills and going all Jason Bourne on the situation what is there to do? Clearly the Trumpers protesting in mass only emboldened congress to double down on their attack on liberty in the US. I fear for the future, maybe I really do just need to join the other side and enjoy the ride. One thing for sure... I need to get back to work. We compressed our fall semester to finish before a covid surge and we are postponing our spring semester until Feb 8th to wait out the surge that we predicted. Three months paid leave is dangerous!

I think the answer is coming in the beak up of the USA. The cancel culture is becoming so widespread, there is no way someone with more traditional American values (life, liberty, happiness stuff) can survive in the new USA. They are literally firing people for being at a rally. Add the push for political dominance by adding states and packing the court, it is clear that we can't live together any longer. The only answer is a divorce. Hell we are already doing it with travel bans issued by certain states/cities against other states/cities. Sad but true.

It's that way in many aspects. The left calls the right racist yet the left are the ones putting them down and trying to hold their hand like they aren't capable of surviving on their own. Same with the riots. It was ok to burn down cities and cause hundreds of millions in damage, ruin peoples lives, and even some deaths yet the right is satan because they protested last week (for the record I do not agree with them invading the Capitol building, just pointing out facts)

I love S.CA. Grew up in Orange County during the 80's and early 90's. It bugs me when people say 'build a wall around CA'. Hell no! I love the place - let's take it back.

Think we can wait til after summer..? Saving the country from socialist is important but boating season is super important. Lol just a thought
 
Sorry to say i wont be at the inauguration either,I am thinking no one should show up and no one should watch it on tv or streaming devices, "snub biden" could be the next front yard sign for 2024 election< I say we start now!
