Tried to clean the mold off the original Perko running lights but, I was not impressed with the results. So, ordered the Perko chrome replacements and am very happy with the upgrade.

Other alternative is to remove the white and use white spray paint to renew the surface. On things that are not wear surfaces, it works well and lasts. I did that on my first Glomex TV disk.

These use a festoon style bulb, so easily replaced with an LED style for just a couple bucks.

Did you have a hard time removing the Base? I replaced mine today but I could not remove the base. Ended up mounting the new Chrome Cover to the old base. It felt like they were bolted or maybe they used 5200 by accident. I was prying with a large Screw driver and the edge would come up but just barely.

I have no problem. It had two screws and a thin layer of white silicone.
