Not sure when in July you are coming, but you may want to go across the bay to the city of Sandusky. Paper District Marina is a good location. The city is celebrating it's bicentennial in 2018. July 12-15 is the Festival of Sail. Details can be found at

Will be heading down to PIB and Kelly's Island the first week in August. Typically, we head north up in Lk Huron but this year, going to Miliken in Detroit for the weekend, then heading down to the Ohio islands.
