Price's 39 Sea Ray

I have to pose a question to the 1990 and older 39 Sea Ray Express buyers. Seeing the prices all over the board
Was the purchasing price between 30 and 40 thousand .
Or was it between 40 and 50 thousand.

When you get the age of our boats, it all comes down to condition. Some decent ones are selling in the high teens. Some really nice ones are bringing upper 30s even low 40s. Gas or diesel, you dont say which. 1988 up has a more modern interior cabinets and fiberglass cockpit seat frames, which are much more desirable. You need to be more specific.

To be more specific Bristol 1989 through 1991 39 Sea Ray Express. They are listed for sale between 42 to 59 thousand with gas engines in freshwater. The BUC Book shows the boat to be only worth 39 thousand in Bristol condition. That price looks to be real low. That is why the question was posted.

I sell boats and the market is nuts right now. People are asking whatever they want and some are getting it. As I said, I would not want much more than $40k in one. The market will adjust. We sold our 1989 gas 390 around 2000 for $85k, it was freshwater, covered slip, and Imron paint. That was 20 years ago. Make sure you survey, they will access a value for you based on condition.
