Does anyone know where I could get a manual for this Promatic 30-3 ALLTECH SERIES charger? I think it's frying my batteries. Any recommendations on a replacement would be appreciated.

Don't worry about getting a manual. Those old ferro resonant chargers are much harder on batteries than the newer electronic smart chargers. You should consider a replacement with a Pronautic 1230P. They are fantastic and will be a direct replacement. They can be bought on line or directly from ProMariner.

I cannot recall where I bought by 1240P but it was online from a Canadian retailer. They are light so shipping is nominal.

Just a word of advice!
I had a 30 amp charger and replaced it with a promariner 1240. Kept tripping the breakers feeding to the batteries due to this charger pushing 40 amps on my 30 amp breakers which I found out the hard way. Workaround by lowering the power output on the charger (which I did, to 75%) or rewire and replace breakers. Great charger!

You could very well be correct that it's starting to act wonky. Same thing happened to me a few years back. Luckily I only lost one battery. BUT, before you condemn it, give ProMariner a call and they can walk you through a test procedure.

And as far a replacement goes, I went with a ProNautic, as well.
