Hi everyone
Does anyone know what the construction is of the tube our prop shafts run through are? I’m talking about the tube you see poking out into your bilge with the prop shaft running through. Is it a glass fibre boot with a tubed end and then glass fibre into the hull or actually just a tube? Mine has a slight leak between the glass fibre coating over the tube and the tube itself.

I just replaced my shaft seal last weekend. It seems to be all fiberglass, but smoother where the hose for the seal connects too. Hope this helps
