Do you have some sort of heat in there like a bilge heater? I would be concerned about things freezing.

My only concern would be the canvas. That was some nice, heavy, wet snow.

    Pure Michigan....

happens to us on the hard every year. I take the cover off, start prep, and within a week get a dump of snow

Lots of fishing boats go in early March (or whenever the ice is off Lake Ontario) and they're all fine. I've asked them about freezing over the years and they don't worry much about it. Their theory is the water is a significant thermal mass insulating the boat and the bilge temps don't usually drop very low. Plugging up the blower vents helps though

2808670-R1-015-6.jpg It has not been cold enough to do any harm. Even with all of this snow it has been 31 to 34 degrees. Nothing to worry about.

I kept brushing snow off of the canvas. I had heat in the engine compartment and heat running in the cabin. Went out to check on things again at 5 this morning and was nice and toasty. Could have had my coffee on board :)

Pretty cool how your flag really stands out against all the snow. Hopefully that was the end of the accumulating white stuff!

This is a VERY cool photo, no pun in tended. I'm surprised you're not out cruising. Boating in the snow is one of our favorite times. It's amazing how quiet it is.

I'd imagine the typical Sea Ray doesn't come equipped with defrosters sufficient to survive this cruise. :):) ha.

That could be a fun run if you can manage to haul your cooler out that snow covered dock without falling into the drink!

Full disclosure - this photo makes me more and more sad with each view. It's April 16th. I was wearing shorts doing yard work 2 weeks ago. There is no excuse for this...

We use a 1500W heater on the bridge and a fan to keep the air blowing across the front windows. Works like a charm. Not really warm, but takes the chill off. Jackets are still needed.

There's just something magical about being on a boat when the snow if falling, especially when there's no wind and those really big flakes are coming down.

    Beautiful.

Yikes! We had a light dusting the day I brought mine around to be hauled in late November, but it was nothing like that.
Coming up the canal in snow flurries was kind of cool though.
Luckily, that was about the most snow we got at one time all winter.

Nice! Good to see the snow has melted away from the docks at Grand Isle...

That boat looks immaculate. Looks like she had a good winter...
