Put the Boat on the Trailer

I tow mine with a ram 2500 diesel and it does just fine. You won’t have any trouble. I’m also 14’2”. Haven’t had an issue with height.

That makes me feel a little better, but I'm still going to hinge it.
We have a lot of low looking lines between the marina and our house.
I'm going to go out this weekend and physically measure them to make sure.

I have a 24’ 3pc extension pole set 6” longer than my boat is tall. I can stand on the bow and check a bridge before I chance it. Might be worth sticking one in your truck...just a thought...

I use one of my pool cleaning poles. When I towed our boat from Lake Ozark to northern Wisconsin, I stopped many times, just to check over hanging wires. What really made me nervous were the traffic lights that over hung the intersections. I am over 14’ high and never had a issue. Even going thru some of the small towns were you are not sure things are installed per code, this will still make the sphincter tighten up! I also pay attention to repaving or obvious road work as that can effect the clearance.
As far as towing, I am very happy with the Loadmaster. Rock solid. The 3500 Chevy loves pulling this boat. No shortage of power.
