Just removed a Raymarine 230 VHF radio from my helm. The prev owner had already decommissioned it in favor of a Std Horizon model. But it was still in there. I removed it to make room for an AIS transceiver. I honestly don’t know if it works. I assume it did. These older RM radios were great. But the cables to the handsets aged and fell apart, so folks replaced their whole radios. So... there are no handsets with this radio. Just the base unit and the NMEA/power cable. I did cut the red and black power wires to remove it, but just once and they should be simple to splice. I hate throwing away electronics, so I’m offering it here. I’m asking $50 (shipped in the cont US) because it’s heavy and will easily cost $25-$30 to ship UPS ground. Here are a few pics:

Hi,

I know you don't have the handset, but do you have the handset mount?

Thank you,

Mike

unfortunately, no. That must have been removed when they replaced the radio. I have the speaker still mounted in the dash, and I assume the mic mount would have been next to it. That’s where the newer VHF now is. The speaker is to stay there until I get something to mount on its’ place.
