Base and handset came out of 2011 sedan bridge. The base and handset worked well. Includes base, handset and power cable. Doesn’t include speaker or cord from base to handset as those 2 items were not in good working order.

That cord is good. It was the cord that goes between the base and the port that you mount on the dash that was bad. The plug that was in the dash had a bad connection on it. It was corroded and broke off.

Sorry to go on a tangent but are you saying that I can plug my handset directly to the unit, bypassing the cable from the unit to the dash plug, and verify whether or not I'm having an issue with the handset or the dash plug cable?
 
yes, the cord is really just an extension from the base to the handset cord.
 
Jeremy, I’m thinking about this as a spare, though there’s nothing wrong with any of my components. I’m sitting in Hyannis as I type this and noticed you’re on a Cape Cod. Where on the Cape?
 
I keep the boat in Falmouth harbor but I live off cape in Carver, MA. If you are interested in the radio, I could meet you somewhere in the middle alnear the bridge over the canal. Are you working in Hyannis?

No, staying in Hyannis, working in Sandwich on the canal. I’ll let you know about the radio. I have to get past my spending spree for later this week at Defender.
