I'm rebuilding the folding-up aft bench seat in a 1987 Sundancer 270.
Where can I source the laminated plywood for the seat?

I did the same thing on a 77 240 Sundancer and just used marine plywood and upholstered it.

I'm not sure I completely understand your question. Plywood IS laminated, to start with.

Local lumber yards should have marine ply which is preferable, but not all together necessary. Treated will work fine and, really, so will exterior grade plywood. If you want, you could go crazy and saturate the wood with resin. You can drill a bunch of 1-1/2" holes in the plywood to make it lighter and also to aid in draining and ventilation. Cover the bottom with mesh. Use monel staples.

I would recommend passing on the use of marine plywood and use the plastic marine board that is used today. It is very easy to work with and you will never have to worry about rot again.

I was originally thinking of that, too, Kevin. But for some reason I thought that this was a pretty large seat with no real support for it when it's deployed. And you can't put plastic L-channel underneath to support it because then it wouldn't fold. But possibly glueing two pieces of PVC (would be better than HDPE/Starboard) together could stiffen it up enough.

Marine plywood is available at Menards. I'd probably use that. Coat it with epoxy to help seal it from moisture.
