Recall Gretchen Whitmer - Michigan

Who the hell has a problem with showing ID to vote?
I'll tell you what. My kid turned 21 this summer. In IL we have the vertical license for under 21 and horizontal license for 21+. The DMV was taking weeks to issue a new license. It was unbelivable the dificulty he had trying to buy a beer. Places wouldn't take his vertical license. So he went and got his temporay horizontal one from the DMV. They wouldn't take that, along with his vertical one, either. It was easier for him to buy when he was under 21 with a fake. Completely ridiculous. So ID doesn't mean squat. :)

Seems like it did matter.

This state is unbelievable... Remember I live here too. Two years later after they knew they decide to act. This state has serious infrastructure issues and the left sits here jerking around with immigration and covid... Whitmer ran on "fix the damn roads" which she has barely done anything...never mind lead pipes. Hell Flint is still a mess.

This quote from the article is priceless... bet the mayor is a democrat loving Whitmer voter

The mayor was asked at a news conference if he was disappointed that Whitmer hadn’t acted sooner.

"My Bible says that money solveth all things," Muhammad said. "This is a $30 million job, and the money was not there three years ago."

He said nobody wins in a "blame game."

My wife and I were just having this conversation....If we had kids all over again today they would be in private schools..... and in a real world we should be able to divert our education taxes to that private school.... enough with this failed public school system and unions

That’s what we did and could barely afford it when we started. Plus, we were basically paying for two kids, one through taxes and the other through personal savings.

MN, just before the shutdown the teachers went on strike. Miraculously, they reached a deal just before Walz shut the state down. Part of that deal included a moratorium on new Charter schools. The public school budget , is the highest budget in the State IIRC, and we’re churning out indoctrinated morons who’ll burn down their own neighborhood. You guys need to catch up (sarcasm)

The liberal indoctrination used to get introduced by liberal professors in college - after young minds left the household for the first time and were out of the reach of parental guidance.

Sadly, now this same indoctrination begins in 1st grade, and any parent that tries to intervene or object is immediately labeled a racist…

When your taught at a Government school, you’re taught to think Government is pretty cool.

We’re in the process of applying for college. Every one we’ve been too has a mandatory diversity class that is required. Even private. Just curious how promoting hate (cuzz that’s what it is) based on social status and/or race will produce a fruitful workforce. That’s the point of college, so I thought - studying to focus on a future career?

Did you know....sometimes when the remains of dead illegals are found in the Sonoran Desert they are able to identify them by their Mexican voter ID card. Yup, Mexico had implemented voter ID after a controversial Presidential election in the late '80's.

The dictator that keeps on taking and taking…. Michigan… not open for business

Michigan's Whitmer vetoes GOP bill to forgive businesses for 1st-time COVID-rule violations
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer last week vetoed a Republican-backed bill that would have given the state's businesses a pass for a first-time coronavirus-related safety violation, claiming it would have "disastrous consequences."

Under the bill, previously fined businesses would also be eligible for refunds, FOX 2 in Detroit reported.

The Republican-controlled state Senate passed the bill along party lines last week, while the state House passed it with some Democratic support.

It was meant to help businesses struggling during the pandemic and was prompted by reports of unforgiving enforcement, proponents said.

The bill would "give some grace and relief to the employers in our state," Republican state Rep. Timmy Beson, who sponsored the House bill, has said, according to The Detroit News.

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has been fining businesses that violate virus safety rules, which critics have claimed rely heavily on Whitmer’s coronavirus executive orders that were ruled unconstitutional by the Michigan Supreme Court in October 2020.

MIOSHA has denied that, arguing it has authority under its general duty clause to broadly determine safety standards and issue fines, according to the News.

So she should be in jail for for her personal violations…
