I bought my boat from Carlton (PWM) and also kept the in the Potomac for 10+ years. The first time I pulled the coolers was after almost 10 years! (Ignorance is bliss). They looked really good and no leaks. Followed Tony from Seaboard on the process. Keep the boat at HHN now. I pulled the coolers 2 weeks ago, but have not looked at them yet, so can't answer your last question.

    Boatless. Possibly shopping...who knows

I'd be curious to see when everyone launched their boat. Here in the Upper Chesapeake the weather is pretty unpredictable in the spring but I generally shoot for early April. Often the weather still is miserable till May.

Middle River. When pulled had to pick a week so they knew how to place boats, went with first week April based on past years.

I shoot for mid may but last year it didn’t warm up until june. Five more years and I’ll be one of those who don’t winterize.Correction 4 years 9 months.

I guess older boats have longer lists
    1) pull and rebuild one of the transmissions
    2) build my wife the L bench seat she wants in our boat
    3) finish the cockpit improvements
    4) purchase the one case of bourbon needed for the upcoming season

We'll go in the water in early may and hang out at the boatyard marina until around the end of the month when our summer marina opens. It is on a river that drains from the White Mountains, so tree trunks are pretty common until the end of May.

I always did all of the systems preventive maintenance at our dock in October and drove the boat to the Travelhoist at an appointed time. It was freshly washed so it went into storage very clean. The marina polished and waxed it in the winter so it was ready to go in the spring. I would have it launched on a nice day in April and drive it to our lake house a few miles away. There, I would sanitize the water system and ice maker and we were ready to boat. I would rinse the pollen off of it every few days and it stayed clean for quite a while with just regular rinses.

Most maintenance items were completed in the Fall with winterization. Flush the fresh water system, wax and buff the hull, refinish the teak swim platform and go!
