“You can’t fix stupid” James River water temps are in the mid to upper 60’s Small Craft Warnings.
Looks like a nice sunny day, hardly a ripple on the water. What don't you like?
I'm thinking Small Craft Warnings on the river are much different than on Lake Michigan.
Heck when Lake Erie water temp is 60 we've already been swimming in the month a May.
That was in the protected area of the marina. Whitecaps out on the river just ahead of the front that came in yesterdayWhat bothered me was the age of the kids, the amount of folks on a two person ski, and a father with no life jacket.
What's the problem?
Probably a Covid purchase
Without waves jet skis are no fun
I have a hard time getting worked up about that. The picture looks pretty calm, and water temps in the 60s have a long survivability time. 4 people on a 3 person PWC, ok. Yeah, not ideal.
At best a 3 seat capacity, and no life vest - idiot.
cant fix irresponsible first hands either. Charter boat taken out by drunk first hand yesterday at our dock (Marina Jacks)..
4 people on a 3 person waverunner
The little kid in front is considered the operator by the Coasties
What’s the water temp? Hypothermia if they go in the water with air temps in the 60’s?
What in the f**k?!?!?
We were at our marina last night for a party. Our whole river is no wake until you get to the Ohio River. Boat comes in hot on plane past or marina about 15' away from the few boats left on C dock and they were bouncing around hard. A few on shore were yelling at the guy. Well he turns and comes into our marina. Turns out its a guy from our marina. Figuring there was an emergency a few people yelled down asking if he needed help. He said nope, he was fine. So one person yelled down and said you know this is all no wake? He said he was afraid he was going to run out of gas??? Geeezzzz.
Oh my! Glad it wasn't your Fairway!!
I saw that from another person filming it from another angle.... I didn't know the guy was drunk.... Just insane
This happened late August about 60 miles from me on the WI River. The driver got out of his boat, walked away towing his beer cooler on wheels. It happened on Sunday, he was arrested the next day.
