Removing Engine on 2002’ 240 SD 5.0 MPI Bravo 3

Hi all,

My coupler is bad on my 240 SD, 5.0MPI Bravo 3. I started removing trim and connections on the boat prepping to pull the motor. Has anyone pulled a motor from a 240? Looks like a tight squeeze getting the motor out. Anyone know if I’ll need to pull the fuel tank out that’s located in front of the motor?

Just curious, is it necessary to remove the risers and/or exhaust manifolds?

Every boat is different, some the deck is close to the top of the riser. If you have the clearance leave them on.
