Hello all, I am pulling the motor out and have misplaced my Seloc manual, all electrical and control cables have been removed, I only have 3 bolts to unscrew then I can lift her out. Does anything else need to come off before i lift it out?

The boat has a closed cooling system, with thru hull water pickup
and steering pump w/ hoses that pass thru a cooler and then into the steering actuator (I believe)

    Any input is appreciated.

Remove the outdrive before trying to lift the engine if you haven't done so yet.

Thanks I did that, forgot to mention it. Really just need to know if I need to just disconnect the hoses coming from steering pump or remove steering pump off bracket and leave in boat?

When I lift mine I just disconnect the hoses at power steering cylinder, fuel pump, exh elbows and sea pump. Unplug the engine harness and remove front and rear mounts. It all lifts as a package. It is easier to work on the rest of it on a hoist or stand. I updated my package to a later ('98) model but it did originally have the thru hull and sea pump. The oil cooler comes out now with the engine. If memory serves me well, the original ('80) oil cooler was laying in the bilge next to the oil pan.

Ok thanks, I just have to disconnect the hoses on it and remove engine mounts. Yep, the oil cooler is laying in the bilge.
