I'm looking to replace the headliner in my 84 360AC. The salon headliner is short nap fuzz with stains in the corner that seem to creep towards the center. My question is...

since I'm under the fly bridge, what is the current headliner stuck to? I see screw snap caps all over the headliner so maybe plywood?

does anyone have tips for a clean disassembly?

what adhesive will be best for the new headliner?

Any other recommendations before taking this on?

Mine is a year older than yours but I think it is probably the same. I have panels that are held in place by teak strips that run from side to side. Take the teak strips down and the panels should be relatively easy to take down.
What you use to put it back will depend on what you use for replacement.

Do either of you still own your 360 Aft?
Just about to purchase one and looking for insights. Thanks!

So? Yes??
Do people not own boats past 3 or 4 years??
I like how much time you took to take a Screenshot. And for what purpose?
To make it attractive to respond to Posts?
Makes me fell welcome.
You're right. Maybe I'll just not post anymore.

Dave.. Welcome onboard CSR.

I think Quint was simply pointing out the date and you may not see a response. The first poster hasn’t been on CSR since 2014 and the second guy since 2016. (If you click on their screen name an info screen pops up showing their info.)

Lots of people sign up ask a question and are never seen again. Another thing is sometimes a topic has been discussed and rediscussed and a new member simply re-asks the question without searching the forums first. There is a ton of info here and many people willing to help people out.

Now if you want lots of responses ask about putting a Honda Generator on the swim platform.

Settle down just pointing out a useful detail often missed.

Some old threads do get revived but just know you may be waisting your time on threads several years old.

I would agree. Just posting an image especially being a contributor with an arrow with no words as being kinda cold. A kind, welcome with a little context might have been a friendlier choice.

Then the next post "settle down". Really.

Disappointing.

This place is sometimes like a spirited discussion among friends. I did not mean to hurt feelings.

Just quickly pointing out to the poster a pertinent fact.

The image was in my mind was "a picture is worth a thousand words" type of communication.

Posting to old threads happens often and I was addressing it for the poster and others (sometimes old threads do get revived).
