I posted on searay forum last year about these SC5000 units fading in the sun and becoming hard to read. I am able to repair these units and bring them back to life. I charge $250 minus shipping and offer a 90 day warranty per unit or display. I also fix all kinds of LCD displays that get affected from sun exposure such as yamaha smart gauges , mercury outboard smart scraft gauges, Honda, chart plotters, and basically, anything with an LCD display. Prices vary. I also buy old electronics depending on what they are for cores.
