SD Model Makers

I know this has been asked a bunch but I didn’t see a recent thread and it’s good to check recent references.

Does anyone have an SD Model Makers replica of their boat? Wondering about quality, experience, etc. We’re planning on ordering ours in the next month or two once I’ve made a couple permanent changes to the full size one so the model can match.

they’re certainly not cheap but it’s a very cool thing. I plan on getting the 18” full desk model.

please share experiences if anyone has any

Can’t answer but we’ll I’ll tell a story, I had a cabinet of model cars of every car my father and I owned from forever. House fire in 2014 took them all, irreplaceable. Fires suck.

ah that’s terrible. Had a friend lose a ton of guitars in a basement flood. Insurance covered those but as you said, irreplaceable.

Custom made Hawken flintlock rifle gone, fathers army jacket from Korea with all the medals gone, pics of my kids growing up on boats gone. Fires suck.

We did get a new totally upgraded house out of it, so there is that.
