I am looking to replace the cursive model decals on my 450. I have looked and found that every vendor is out of stock or doesn't offer my model so I will need to have them custom made. Does anyone know what font Sea Ray used? Thank you in advance!

Following as well. Has anyone tried emailing the customer service dept at Sea Ray to ask what font they used?

I did some research here on CSR and on some other forums and it looks like there isn't an out of the box font available. There are some that are close, but not exactly correct. The picture I posted above was from marine max of some NOS decals that are no longer available. Flounder Pounder has "Six Eighty", "Six Ten" and "Fifty Two". They also have just "Fifty" in stock.

I'm going to try this. I'm going to take a picture of the decal on my boat and have the digital file be in the PDF Vector format. I believe a shop can replicate the decal if I give them the file along with the exact dimensions. I'll keep everyone updated.

try reaching out to SEARAYMAN13 on ebay. He may be able to help.
(I have no affiliation, just what I have heard)

It's probably more work than you want to do, but you could probably find an illustrator to draw the logo you want electronically and then hand the electronic illustration off to a vinyl place to create the actual logo. I did my own graphic design for my boat name/hailing port vinyl and all I had to do was provide the vinyl shop with an Illustrator file.

It would take some effort (surfing Etsy, checking with a local art school or college with an art program) but it shouldn't be that hard to find an illustrator to basically copy an existing logotype and create an scalable graphic file for you. I'm pretty sure my search for a decent marine mechanic up here in Minnesota would be more time spent than finding an illustrator.
