I am looking to purchase a 250 Sundancer 1997 with a 7.4 Mercruiser. I have the Serial number, however, attempting to find the value has proven daunting through Google.
Is there a Book value sight to get the value with the boat serial number without ending up having every boat Broker in the nation call me?
Thanks for any help.

You can look up the boat by year, model and options on the NADA site or the BUC guide site but I think you have to be a subscribing member to access the BUC guides.

There as 2 distinct problems with any price guide for boats……..the number of sales of say a 1997 model boat is that there are so few small older boats sold of a particular model that the statistical accuracy of the price you find isn't trustworthy. The other problem is condition. The condition of 25 year old boats can be all over the map from pristine and perfectly maintained to being an absolute dog and that leads to huge swings in real value.

One other thing you might try is to get a friendly broker to look up the actual sales of 250DA's on soldboat.com. It is a member site only accessible by member brokers.
