Hi everyone. For those of us considering a pod drive boat but hear all kinds of scary stories I thought it would be informative to have all of you who have actual experience with pods, be it IPS or Zeuss, share your wisdom, suggestions and real world experience with us.

Thank you in advance!

Just splashed my boat for season #2. I love my boat. I love the way the pods make the boat handle and the way it cruises. For close quarter maneuvering, I find the pods make the boat phenomenally responsive.
Pods, like every other mechanical system on a boat, require maintenance. Preventive maintenance should keep you happy and running all season long. Deferring maintenance, IMHO, is rolling the dice.
I'm sure others will chime in.
In the interim, if there is something specific you'd like to know, just ask.
