Shipping and Storing a 2015 Sea 240 Sundeck

Hello everyone! Very excited as I will soon be a Sea Ray owner.! I'm in the process of purchasing the boat and getting it shipped.

I need to get the boat shipped from Tulsa, OK to Atlanta, GA. Anyone here have any recommendations for a boat shipper? The boat has the factory/oem sports tower and a few shippers are asking me for the height of the boat. Does anyone know the exact height of the boat with and without the sports tower? I would measure it myself but I can't given the circumstances.

Also, I want to dry stack this boat and some of the marinas are asking me what the height is with the tower folded down. Anyone know these specifications? Greatly appreciate anyone with any knowledge of these specs!

Thanks for the info! Does anyone know if the tower can be removed completely?

You could, but it's going to take some time. Besides, it's not necessary for shipping. The boat is well under the standard height for trailering with the tower up. You can ship the boat with the tower folded if you properly support it.

You may want to look at buying a trailer and renting a truck to tow it yourself. We tow a 21 foot jetboat with an Envoy Denali (2006) it has a 5.3 V8 weight is 4,000. Longest distance we towed it one way was 2,600 miles.
