Shrinkwrap Doors

Much better this year! 7 feet tall and only $32 on eBay, installed in 10 mins

There's no zipper across the top -- just a vertical one on each side. I like this better than one long zipper. Plus it has built-in velcro at the top to hold the door in place if you roll it up.

So how does that work with it only zipping on the sides? Is there enough "play" in it to slide through?

Basically you zip up each side and then the whole thing rolls up at the top

This is not the best example but something like this:

So there's no attaching at the bottom? I guess that makes sense to me now.

Sorry, yes ... it's not clear in the pic I posted of my boat. You put the shrinkwrap tape down like you would over a new-construction window: sides first, then top, nothing on the bottom.

You un-zip starting at the bottom, going up.

I'm definitely going that route next year. This is my 5th year with the same door so I think it's time to upgrade. No more contortionist moves to get in.

mine always wound up 11’ up forward of the arch (10’ ladder for reference). That was the only halfway usable place to put it with the engine hatch open and the boat wrapped.
