Smartcraft Fuel Used on 340 Sundancer with Generator

I did some searching but could not confirm if the Fuel Used logged by my Smartcraft gauges on my 2004 340 Sundancer takes into consideration the fuel used by the generator. This is new to me and we ran the generator over the weekend for about 4-5 hours while rafted up and expected to see a bigger drop on the starboard tank. I believe we have the Kohler 5kw unit.

So, do these readings include the generators fuel burn? Also, what is the expected fuel burn rate on these generators?

Our slightly older (98) Kohler 5kw burns about .75 gal/hour under load. I would imagine yours is similar, not sure about smartcraft though

The Smartcraft only sees what your engine burns as far as gallons used. It does not include the gen. My Kohler 5ECD burns something less than .75gph, but I use the .75 as a multiplier when figuring usage as I believe it is between .5-.75.
