Hello! I’ve got a question regarding my SmartCraft SC5000. The original SmartCraft Systems View display Head was replaced with a NOS display head. The new display has more features like turbo boost, manifold temp, load, plus a few more. All of the additional features do not have a reading on the display, it’s as though the sensors don’t exist. However, last week I had a Cummins tech on the boat to reflash the ECM’s to the lasted version. All the reading were on the laptop but not the SmartCraft display head.? I’d like to see all information the display has to offer, but it seems limited. I’ve tried to recalibrate the display head to recognize all sensors, after doing so it made no difference.

I also would like to add a gateway to the SmartCraft so I can see the engine readings on my Garmin 4210 & 7212. After reading on another forum it was mentioned that Searay uses the starboard engine as the primary engine and the port engine as the slave engine. It was stated that because of this the SmartCraft will only display the primary engine readings and not the slave engine because of this.

I need help in sorting this out, the Cummins tech is very good but not familiar with the way these engines are wired. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
