Smartcraft Junction Box

On my 320 DA the junction box is behind the speed/rpm gauges. I would bet yours is there too.

I’m sure you know this, but so it is clear to others, technically, you are not really adding it to the SC5000, you are adding it to the Smarcraft network, whether you have an sc5000 or not is mostly irrelevant, except that most people with an sc5000 want a replacement, but don’t want to pay the 1500$ for vesselview system with screen (or see the value in it).

Yeah, this math doesn't work for me, either. You can add a SC gateway AND a second 7" chartplotter and get a lot more functionality! I'd love to add a VV7, but for the money they want I'd be better off adding a Simrad Go7 to complement my NSS9 (I already have the gateway and a NMEA2000 network installed).

This week installing a VV 403 which does not support my analog top 4 gauges. Tach's, and mult gauge that displays battery, fuel, temp, oil pressure. Ordering the 6 port J-box and will plug in my 5000 behind the dash so the 4 gauges become active once again.
