At the end of the season, we sold the 300DA that had served us so well for 12 seasons. I wasnt sure what was next......and Im still not, but I did pick up a "diversion" (hmmmm, good name for it LOL). Ive been poking around (do we ever stop) - talking to friends (dangerous) and I was told about this '06 250 Amberjack. Uncommon model (2 years), but it was really just a rebadged 245 weekender. It was priced at the lower end of retail, but the yard that winterized it noted some issues the owner was not previously aware of - he was done with the boat and wanted out and made me an offer i couldnt refuse.....looking forward to spending some time bringing it back up to spec - then what? flip it? Grab a slip in Mystic next year? Ship it to fla? - Who knows! but either way Im excited to be "back"

Congrats, colored hull in FL?

WOW...impulse... Have fun with it...sounds like you already are

Congratulations! A little anticipation medication to help get by the winter.
Good luck with it!

Wow, I am ever that lucky. My project boats are never cheap and close by.........the cheap ones are on the other side of the earth. Anything close by is priced at stupid $$.

Also, that boat was not popular because Sea Ray was never known a fishing boat maker. The WE is a great design and is a boat with a decent demand in Florida where canal home owners want something they can walk out the back door, jump in and go fishing for an hour or so. Enjoy it!

That's what I'm thinking Frank - Now all I need is the canal home in FLA

Congratulations Mike!!

Aw c'mon Man, you know the rules-->without pics it didn't happen. Especially with one so rare.

Good job on finding one close to home.

Welcome back. I knew it wouldn’t take too long to get back in the game.
