Middle of March is usually the turning point for us in the Northeast it seems. But we can still get dumped on in April.

The good thing about spring snows, they usually dont stay on the ground long, I think we have turned the corner in fly-over country, 50's 60's and 70's on the 10 day, and only a couple of nights barely below freezing

Our 10 day looks below average... Crap. Our average is 41° this coming week. Won't hit 40 after Monday through the 18th according to the weather channel. Moving slush around in front of the driveway earlier this morning.

This was taken in the parking lot at our club this week! It may be a while before we can launch. We typically like to be on the water in mid April.

Indeed. Ours is/was down 30” last year.

They have to snow blow our floating docks today because of the weight of the snow, but first they have to make it to the water. This is today on the walkway down to the docks.

The way it's going, March is going to be the snowiest month of this winter season. 4-6 inches on Friday.

Two good things. Daylight saving and I scheduled launch for May 17th.

Snowing hard this morning. Crashing cars during the commute. Ann Arbor has 4". We have a couple at this point. Not terrible. I'm not going anywhere. Just hanging out at home today. No need to get the truck all slopped up for no reason.

The temps never dropped below 32F and so impressed all roads were plowed and wet. No slick spots. The problem we heard of was major power outages. I keep a portable generator here at work for the fellas to barrow in these situations. What is interesting too is Milwaukee Schools were calling a snow day and Waukesha schools are on!
