Basically I wanted to add a bluetooth adapter to the factory stereo without replacing the head unit and marine remote, this is the solution I came up with.

The JL Audio adapter came with pre-applied 3m adhesive, and I used vampire clips on the red and black on the head unit wiring harness. Bluetooth adapter is suppose to have a 35' range.

Saw your video. Can you change songs that your playing on your phone via Bluetooth with the stereo remotes? Or can you only change songs with the phone in your hand?
