i have a 1985 sea ray with a 350 mag and want to know what will be the best plugs to get from a auto store

If you insist on buying ignition parts (distributor cap, rotor, and plug wires) from an automotive retailer, make certain they are intended for marine service. Ignition parts intended for automotive use have no place in an engine room of a gas boat.

If you have a mallary distributer make sure your buying mallery marine parts they will have brass electrodes and will be safe to run in a marine environment. It best to go to a Marine Dealer with your distributer number so you get the correct parts.
