Speakers cutting out

I noticed this issue this weekend. Speakers on port side will just cut out. When I hit something like the trim switches, the speakers will come back on. Eventually they stop again.
The boat stereo system was upgraded by previous owner. Where to start? Amp issue?
Thoughts?

Voltage is always a suspect. Not just loose or corroded connections, but are the power cables of ample gauge for load? Are they terminated to a proper spot?

I’ll have to look at that. After my generator saga yesterday, I needed a break from boat and more boat fun
