Is anyone going to the beer fest this weekend? It takes in half the town, a whole lot of fun walking around to the various brewers etc.

Staying at Higgins - should be a good time. Stop by if your in the area.

It's all afternoon and you walk around to the places participating, which is a lot. Great fun, no driving and lot's of fun people.

How’d you make out? We were headed to Tiki Lee to see Son of Pirates. SCA on bay, it was a fight to stay on plane. White caps. Bad sign when you see all the sailboats out with rags up.
Came back into river, went to Bowleys on the Bay.

how are the facilities at Higgins?

Higgins not the fanciest, but its best location. About 1 block from Main St. and all the best places. All other marinas are a zodiac ride or require a hefty walk.

@The Dark Side we liked Higgins a lot when we went to St Michael's for our first time last spring. Quiet, not too big, low noise, kind of off the beaten path which we liked.

how are the facilities at Higgins?

Higgins is fairly quite and close to everything. It is actually a boat yard so no real amenities. That said, I like it better then St. Michael's Marina. Short walk to everything. If you have a dog you need to walk, Higgins may be closer to the park.

If you have kids, St. Michaels Marina or St. Michaels Inn across the from the marina, both have pools.
