I'm half Irish but not into the corned beef and cabbage thing. What it means to me...it's a reminder that 78 years ago today my Dad was badly wounded in WW2. He came home missing some body parts, he said he was one of the lucky ones. Lucky for me to...if he wouldn't have made it I wouldn't be here.:)

He held on to his most important part. I’m glad you are here and I am thankful your dad made it through.

We all have ancestors who made a sacrifice or we wouldn’t exist.

My uncle was left on an an Aleutian Island by his unit and survived in the wilderness for nine months. When we re-took the Island he had notes on everything the Japanese did. He never spoke of it but he told me a story when I asked him about cross country skiing. He said his skis saved his life. He had a shelter and stole rations from the Japanese. He went undetected until they were expelled. Uncle Lenny and my Aunt Margaret, I miss them.
 
Every body survive?….. I ended up getting a little crooked last night….. just have to hook up a water softener and take my daughter to buy an suv today…. I got this…. Or so I keep saying

I still have all my teeth, if that's what you mean. I may have had a touch too much to drink.

Are you really trying to hook up another water softener? Didn't you try that once before with..ahhhhh...poor results? Remember the Rescue tape.

Good luck on the car purchase. Bought my wife an SUV this year and the buying experience was much different than 2019 when I bought mine. Not used to a dealer telling how much OVER MSRP I need to pay. I am good at walking away.
