I also started the year out with about 225 gallons!! I just didn’t want to brag that yesterday was my fourth outing this year.

It's funny, but sometimes thinking about the boat is the only thing that gets me to sleep. Puts me in my happy place.

I know you mean a direct canal, but the there is a path, it's part of the NE loop of the Great Loop.

Out of Lake Erie via the canal and down the Hudson to Delaware bay and through the C&D canal to the top of the Chesapeake.

But that does not go past my river front property on the Susquehanna. It's all about me. LOL

I used to be all hot and bothered to get launched as early as possible in April. And I'd get snowed on without fail. Early May launching is a lot less stressful

Nothing better than reading a book on the bridge with a cup of coffee and getting a light snow. We are heading to Sheboygan in April just to go see my kid in college.

On this gorgeous 60 degree day I just visited my boat. The alligator crawl through the shrink wrap door was well worth the 10 minutes I spent sitting in the cockpit basking in the blue glow.

It was like a walk in freezer in the cabin though.

Definitely have the itch now. Looking at 1st week of May splash.
