I have just discovered that mine are frozen/corroded and need complete replacement, but am having issues finding provider sources...Does anyone have any suggestions...?

Or should I convert to hydraulic...(more expensive, but might be worth it??)

Many thanks.

I had a 89DA and it froze up. Got in there with a good lube had a friend turn the wheel back and forth. It works good now smooth sailing, left to right. Try it.it may work.

You probably have the ride glide cables. Are you shafts or outdrives?I replaced the helm and cable assybly on mine last year so i could add a sport pilot autopilot to my 300 we.I had to change to teleflex system though and buy a new wheel because the square shaft for the wheel is obsolete. It wasnt that bad of a job just make sure you measure correctly ,i could have been happier with 6" longer cable but i managed .
