Absolutely silly question. The step-down pump in the cabin of my 1985 da 260. My hose is the typical plastic bilge hose and it has a split in it. If anybody has replaced this hose before. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to pull the hose either way out of the tunnel from the bilge pump. I've pulled on it pretty hard and have not been able to get it to move more than one foot either way? it's an absolute horrible picture showing the tunnel but I had to actually put my phone down into where the bilge pump is, you can't get your head in there to see anything.

All bilge bases are usually strapped every 12 inches with ringed tie straps, and some of those straps hold 50 pounds each.
Also when a hose goes through a limber hole it is stiliconed in.

I tried the same on my 87 230 weekender.

Ended up patching in a new section for the crack... couldn’t pull it through no matter what I tried.
