are the tab motors easily replaceable and ay a reasonable cost

you can buy just the motor, sierra sells them and you can get the two selinoids or pump and motor. I see the parts in my sierra catalog. I can't see them replacing a 1990 motor under warranty tho.

No, they have a 5 year warranty. You will need to replace the complete Hydraulic Power Unit. Part Number V551HPU1. They are available from most marine dealers and online. They are very easy to replace.
