Thats it ,shes in the barn

He's right, Algonac Harbor Club. Been storing there for 10 years. Great place to winter store and Greg (General Mgr) has been very helpful to me over the years.
@Blueone Thanks both of you. Added my name to the list just now. I like the convenience of using Belle Maer but don't like the Safe Harbor upcharge. I really don't want to store outside if I can help it.

Ran down to Ohio yesterday to check out the boat. High and dry. Tight for sure.

It was highway robbery even before Safe Harbor bought the place. This year I believe its over 9.10 a sq ft heated……3,600 to keep a 320 sundancer inside

In my area it's $7.50....and I wont pay it....I couldnt imagine the new swear words I would have to come up for $9.10

The worst part is…..If im paying for sq footage fine, you dont owe me 4 ft of space around my boat but I also shouldnt have a boat hanging 4 ft over my transom and the guy in front of me turned the other way with his pulpit through my bow rail. This guys anchor about 1/2” above my seat

Safe Harbor is buying up the marinas around here. They would not allow a mechanic into the marina where a boat I have under contract is slipped, it had to be "there" mechanic. Brokers are not liking them so far from what they are telling me.
They bought the marina where I kept my last boat in dry storage year round, they added a $400 charge for the radar arch.

That is my biggest pet peeve…. My new place this year let me say how much the anchor was over my swim platform and if I was okay with room on both sides.
The anchor was over my swim platform about a foot …plenty of room to get my hatch open

I can't open my rear hatch. There's a bent up anchor just inches from it. About all I can do is crack it open. I was going to empty it out. Not happening. Oh well...

no barn. But put a fork in it. Season is over. On the hard. Gave her a wash before the shrinkwrap and the neighbor shows up.
I was happy both my skegs still there.

I'm supervising every time my boat is handled. Not everyone has time to that I know....I'd been raising hell if they tried doing that to me.

Do you have enough side room to wax it indoors?
Yes …they asked if I had enough room all around. I can’t pay that money anymore to be inside heated and be pissed off all winter… I am done with that

I'm actually having Mirror Image doing the polishing, waxing and bottom paint before launching it in the spring. They will actually move the boat to a different building so being jammed in isn't an issue for them. There are mechanical stuff that needs to get done. Hopefully they will be able to maneuver into the bilge where it's sitting. The boat was pulled later than I would have wanted if I'd owned it earlier. I think they were limited in locations to stuff it and be able to move it to the detail building. I'm sure everything will work out.
One thing I have determined after a few trips to the boat is that I could never be happy needing to drive close to 3 hours just to get to the boat. The Catawba area is nice but not worth a long drive in order to use the boat. I'm spoiled being 10 or 15 minutes away from the boat and marina. Plus, Lake Erie can limit boating days way more than Lake St Clair.

Early season for us with hull damage Bruce Boat Repair took good care of our boat. Was happy to get her over to North Buck road heated store in East harbor. Second year storing with them they took good care of the boat last year. Stored with Greene Marine before when I called last season they wouldn't give me a confirmation on a spot until the end of September so I came to Buck Road. Felt good being treated like a return customer. After the first of the year Jeremy gets ahold of everyone to see when we want to work on our boats. His boat is in the building so there's plenty of access to the building. Average cost for the area.
