:) Not my first rodeo. Before you buy, though, double check by downloading the manual from Sea Ray's site. But thanks for nod!

Since my cabinets were rotted basically. I asked a friend who does cabinets to see what he could do. He also made a grate for the floor to match.

Next question!

The return for the A/C is located in the aft cabin"cave". I assume the A/C has a filter that either needs to get changed or get cleaned. I tried to pry off the vent register cover to find the filter, but it held in place. I didn't try that hard because I did not want to break it. Is there a trick to getting it off or do I just need to pry harder and it will come off?

And if I need to replace the filter where do I get one?

I’m wondering the same. I have tried to get that cover off and never could.

Try harder, it will come off and you will not break it. There are no more filter than this.

Im hoping for some help, I am trying to find out the name of the interior vinyl color used by searay in 2002 on the 260SD..
Over this past winter storage, a squirrel chewed in through the cockpit window screen.. I hed left window open an couple inches for air ventilation. The rodent proceeded to store its food items throughout the cabin.. but at some point it chewed a strip of the vinyl that is covering uper microwave cabinet..so I need to pull cabinet and recover that section. The same foam backed vinyl is used throughout interior cabin.

I don't know, offhand, but you could reach out directly to Sea Ray.

On the other hand... it sounds like you are describing the "ridge" that runs around the "shelf"? Have you considered using a contrasting color in that area? Something as simple as black could work - especially if you work in some black colors in other areas, such as the v-berth backrest and/or curtains.

Thanks for the idea LazyD, I've not done upholstery before but may tackle some changes that could work.

Hi all,

I just bought a 2003 260DA with a vacuflush with holding tank. The vacuflush works fine and flushes directly out of the boat when you turn the key in the head to 'power'. The holding tank has been disconnected by one of the previous owners and I want to reconnect the holding tank. I can re-route the hoses, that's not the problem.

The waste pump had a cut wire with tape, so i reconnected that wire, but still nothing happens when i turn the key switch in the head. After using the multimeter I found out that the is no power going to the waste pump when I turn the key to the 'pump out' position. Is there a hidden fuse somewhere that I might have missed that has been taken out perhaps?

Thanks in advance for any ideas

I'm new to owning VacuFlush too, but am pretty sure that the system vacuum pump has to be off when you pump out, or you risk getting a geyser. Possibly turning the key to pump out position automatically turns it off (?) I'm sure others more knowledgeable will clarify.

Another Vacuflush question. Ours has a holding tank level indicator by the key next to the toilet. It read empty last month when we first purchased the boat, now that we've used it a few times the "empty" light went off... but another light did not turn on in its place. I was expecting to see "1/4 full" or half full" etc as the holding tank fills.

Is this normal and no other light comes on until it says "full" or something, or should I be seeing other more-full levels indicated on the panel as the holding tank continues to fill up?

I know this one. in mine there are 3 indicators: empty, 1/2 full and full. Each have a short 'Reach'. Your level is now between empty and 1/2 full. Soon you will see 1/2 full for a while and then nothing for a while and then full. Then it's time to either stop pooing or empty out the tank :).

Yesterday four adults stood on the swim platform for a selfie photo op. I estimate that was 750-800 lbs on the platform. Does anyone know the weight limit of our swim platforms?
