The Results Are In...

Our society has been hoodwinked. Common sense no longer prevails. These liberal loons (including the President) have turned the world we know on it's ear... all in the name of some crap called "social justice." Law and order?...... Gone!, Authority?....... Gone!, Security?....... Gone! Criminals rule the day people! Go burn down your cities you dumb f*cks!

As for me?....I'll be on my boat enjoying the fruits of many years of hard work, investing wisely, remaining in my car if I get pulled over, paying my taxes and raising my family to do the same.

We have the best justice system in the world. Justice was served, but apparently it’s not enough. IMO justice being served in Minneapolis strips destructive powers from these race baiting and divisional politicians. Utterly ridiculous. Kieth “I beat my ol’lady” Ellison is the one who pressed these charges against Officer Chauvin. I’m sure most of you are reading about “others” who are choosing not to move forward.

Everyone, including Creekwood above, should remember that these race baiting and divisional politicians are double locking their doors at night just like you and I. They can bullshit all they want on the news and with their crap speeches about injustice all in the name of sucking up for votes in the next election. They know damn well there is an entire millennial generation of liberal thinking, tattooed and pierced voters in their next election cycle.

Chauvin did more to hurt the respect for US law enforcement than any single LEO in recent history. And when you think how many millions of arrests are made in the US each year, it is clearly an exception. This will pass and George Floyd is now the poster guy for black people. I know he was a guy with a criminal record and a opiate addition. But it could just as easily have been a black college student coming back home to visit his "homies". I wish it was, because then it would take away the excuses that people are using to imply they condone what Chauvin did.

But if you truly believe in individual liberty and human rights you cannot support a police state where LEO's have full discretion to do stop or detain or search you and do what they want because of where you live, what you are driving, the color of your skin. And they should not be able to kill you under the pretense that you resisted arrest. Regardless of the color of skin of anyone involved, Chauvin is the worst scumbag in this tragedy.
Only for the weak minded. Those with critical thinking skills know that Chauvin is not representative of 99.9% of the officers out there. The fact that George Floyd becomes the poster guy in revealing in and of itself. There are so many other Black men that should be the poster guy. And the black college student coming home to visit his "homies" is more likely to be taken out by one of them "homies." In Chicago, that happens frequently -- usually innocent bystanders.

There were 18 unarmed black men killed by police officers in 2020, which included George. However this is what the media, politicians and I would even go as far to say the public education system have fed people. The ignorance is astounding.

yesterday at the 'autonomous zone' before the verdict

Hold on to your hats: any day now the riots start over Tony Timpa. Right???

Now they are including armed shootings -- Kid with a gun in Chicago, Girl with a knife in Oh. Things will get ugly as that is what seems to be the goal.

That may be true and I don't disagree with anything you said except for your assumption that the millennial generation is a bunch of tattooed and pierced voters. That is just inflammatory. There are just as many tattooed and pierced millennial republicans as there are liberals.

But that does NOT change the fact that you do NOT want to live in a police state where the police have unlimited unconstrained power.

Now that is justifiable actions by the LEO. The guy saying "she was just a kid" is a moron and so was the kid that got shot. You pull a knife and go at some one in front of a LEO, you will be shot.

You always use inflammatory and insulting phrases.. You can make a point without insulting people. Weak minded, and those with "critical thinking skills" - nice. Anyone that disagrees with you is clearly inferior and should be insulted. guess your last POTUS made you think its OK.

I said that he is clearly the minority with the millions of arrests that are done properly. Your 99.9% is probably not a bad estimate. But Chauvin was absolutely wrong and he killed a man and will be jailed for it.

And I totally agree that there are far better black guys that could be the role model for police brutality. But this one was so over the top that the BLM movement decided not to wait for a better one to be killed.

And BTW the statement that "And the black college student coming home to visit his "homies" is more likely to be taken out by one of them "homies."" is exactly the generalizations that shows just what the attitude problem is and why that black college kid has a much greater chance of being pulled over driving his dad's Benz with a few friends in the car.

Dude take a pill. You said that people will view LEO's via Chauvin's actions. And I said, only weak minded and those that lack critical thinking skills will. I guess I could have said "stupid." But what I said is 100% true. If you can't distinguish Chauvin from the rest, you are in fact weak minded and lack critical thinking skills.

And the statement regarding being taken out by is homies is based on statistical fact, not fiction. Inner city Black youth is at high risk -- no generalization, it's just a fact.

Creekwood, you and I are usually on the same side of arguments that come up on here but in this instance we're not. She was just a kid. At 16 years old she's not an adult even though she's tall enough and big enough to be an adult.

She pulled the knife with the cop there likely to get her stabbing and slicing in before the cop separated the two girls. She probably never figured on the cop shooting her. Bad judgement on her part but that bad judgement turned out to be a fatal mistake.

The one who's going to suffer in this situation is the cop who likely will be crucified by the liberal press even though he saved the life of the girl in pink.

I hope he does not get criticized for the shot and I actually doubt he will. Its a shame that part of the reaction to this in the media is a bracing for the crucifiction though.

I know she was a kid, but when you watch that video, she was going to stab that other girl and not in self defense. That LEO had a split second decision to make and he made it to prevent girl 2 from being stabbed. I guess when you fire your weapon you are taking a very real chance you will kill someone vs the "chance" that the other one would die from a stabbing. So I get your point.

But I think a split second decision is very different from a 9 minute long decision that ended a life that Chauvin made.

Now you are saying I am a druggy? (just kidding). I understand your point that anyone that paints all LEOs with the same brush as Chauvin is wrong. I agree 100%. And my point was that actions like Chauvin did, feed into that misguided frenzy.

Reading your posts, I think you guys agree more than you think you do.
Probably. I think some here think I am more liberal than I am. I think I am probably more open minded than some though. I think its a Canadian thing.

My view has always been that all the simple problems were solved long ago. The only ones left are the ones that are hard to solve and where there are opposing views on how to solve them (and sometimes opposing views on whether there is a problem to solve). And that means finding common ground is the only way. Entrenching in the extremes will never solve anything.

Follow the police officers instructions and nobody gets hurt...get it? Is this so hard to understand? What percentage of those shot by police were engaging in illegal activity? 99%? This is really simple in my opinion.

I am sick of this illogical thought process. Every day YOU, yeah everyone of you perform an illegal act. In some form. Does that give cops right to shoot you? Really?
